2016 CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Silver Ghost is a rich, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon crafted from some of the finest vineyards in the Napa Valley. The wine is deep in color with aromas of black cherry, blueberry and cassis leaping from the glass. On the palate Silver Ghost reveals layers of red and black fruit intermingled with mocha, toast and savory spice. A sumptuous texture rounds out the long finish.
93 Points TASTING PANEL MAGAZINE
Deeply colored and rich; dense, deep and complex with notes of plum, cherry and vanilla; a remarkable wine at this price.

90 Points WINE ENTHUSIAST, EDITORS’ CHOICE
Smooth and approachable, this wine offers a tangy red-fruit flavor and bright acidity, with integrated oak and tannin. It is delightfully quaffable and finishes in layers of cedar and pencil shavings, remaining varietal and delicious through a steady finish.
90 Points JAMES SUCKLING
Plenty of blackberry pastille with vanilla and resin. Full-bodied with good juiciness to the tannins and a dark-chocolate-coated finish.
Covering the full flavor spectrum, this exquisite wine is the perfect combination of lush fruit, floral notes and spice. Flavors of blueberry, blackberry, toast and smoked herbs bring a compelling complexity to the forefront, followed by a magnificent, full-bodied finish. A showcase of the best that Napa Valley has to offer, this red blend is deep and rich in both appearance and taste.
ABOUT SILVER GHOST
Silver Ghost founder Weston Eidson’s great-grandfather, John Montagu, was an automobile pioneer at the turn of the last century. Being a British Lord and in Parliament, he was instrumental in much of the early automotive legislation and even gave the future Edward VII his first car ride (as seen in this photo). He was friends with Charles Rolls and Henry Royce, and his secretary served as the model for the Rolls-Royce hood ornament, the Spirit of Ecstasy, which we still see on Rolls-Royce cars today. Silver Ghost derives its name from John Montagu’s favorite car, the 1909 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost. And like its name, the wine itself is filled with layers of richness, culture and authenticity.
ABOUT OUR FOUNDER & WINEMAKER
For as long as he can remember, Weston Eidson has possessed an entrepreneurial spirit and an appreciation for fine wine’s ability to enhance any celebration or family get-together. While attending graduate school in the UK, he traveled the globe visiting wine regions from Chile and South Africa to Bordeaux, Alsace and the Veneto. Weston’s journey eventually took him to the Napa Valley where he met Jason Moore of Modus Operandi. Under Moore’s guidance, Weston worked the 2012 harvest and quickly garnered invaluable winemaking skills. Weston has since learned from mentor Russell Bevan and developed a conviction for making wine that is richly layered, complex and balanced. With the proper experience and a dedication to making wine with minimal intervention, Weston’s vision of Silver Ghost came to fruition.
